Paul Scott
Managing Director - Global
Paul founded the Knowledge Based Management team in order to leverage the Lloyd's Register risk based management solutions into the Property and Public Infrastructure markets. He brings 12 years enterprise consulting experience to bear in the creation and deployment of innovative asset management technologies. Previously, Mr. Scott managed the development and operation of the UK’s largest 24/7 property helpdesk to service the Royal Mail. He also led the development and deployment of a web-based supply chain knowledge management tool.
Thom Kemp
Operations Director
Thom is a Chartered Engineer with 30 years of international experience in the field of asset integrity in the upstream, downstream, gas, petrochemicals, power generation (including nuclear) and infrastructure sectors. Thom’s knowledge of asset management and related performance drivers allows KBM to scope and deliver solutions that address the ‘hard’ engineering issues and the ‘soft’ organisation issues, allowing clients to achieve and sustain operational excellence within an enhanced Asset Performance Management culture. Thom is a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Andy Martin
Technical Manager
Andrew brings 20 years of technical and business experience to the KBM team, covering plant system operation and maintenance across naval and property industries. Andrew's research and asset management consulting experience has enabled him to successfully lead clients in applying risk based maintenance approaches since 1999. Andrew has an MSc in Energy Engineering and is an active member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) Maintenance Task Group in the UK. Andrew is also author of several publications including ‘BMS Maintenance’ and ‘Library of System Control Strategies.’
